NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM HON. BAI MAHMOUD BANGURA, 2026 A Rebirth of National Prosperity

 We have made it to the doorstep of a new year, I extend my humble greetings and best wishes to every member, supporter or sympathiser of our cherished party. The turn of a year invites sober reflection and renewed resolve, especially for a generational party like ours that is faced with a factual threat of ideological extinction, largely intensified by incendiary money politics, indiscipline, misinformation and disunity. It is a time to honour those who have laboured for our party across communities, to comfort those who have suffered, and to recommit ourselves to the ideals and common good of the APC Party. The past years tested our patience and our institutional camaraderie in so many ways. We have lost many of our gallant comrades including but not limited to Comrades Umaru Farma, Isatu Nenehski Jalloh, Chief Masianday, Hon. Ernest Dura Koroma, Chairman Sheku Tejan Saccoh, Kadie APC Koroma (Lungi Airport), and most recently Pa J.S Tholley (Magburaka) and Chairman Amidu Keita, may their souls rest in perfect peace. We have missed the company, guidance and support of our revered former Chairman and Leader, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma and our National Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray, both are currently out of the country on medical grounds, we pray they join us soon in good health. Many households across the country continue to struggle with rising cost of living, drugs epidemics, faltering public services, food, water and energy crisis, and limited opportunities for young people. These difficulties weigh heavy on our hearts, yet they also remind us of our collective responsibility to redeem our people. My life has been shaped by service, by the lessons of humble beginnings and by the conviction that opportunity must be extended to every community and every young person. That conviction guides my hopes for our party and country as we enter 2026 to elect our National Leader and Presidential Candidate. When elected, I will provide the requisite leadership to win the 2028 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections to restore confidence in our institutions, rebuild livelihoods and ensure National Unity is not just an abstract slogan but a sustainable bridge that ensures inclusive governance. But hope is not the absence of challenge; it is the determination to meet those challenges together with clarity and compassion. That is the hope I aspire to inspire; Here I am Send Me! May this new year bring the rebirth of National Prosperity, hope and progress to every household. I extend to you all my sincerest wishes for a prosperous and triumphant 2026.
